We had a really fun shoot last Saturday, photographing Wisconsinites jumping on beds. It is a project that the inimitable Kelly Wainwright conceived when she was in South Africa, and we were honored to be her Wisconsin photographers. Mad props to Beth McConnell for being an awesome assistant, including laying in the snow to hold up the headboard! In the coming weeks we'll post some final images from the five locations we shot, but meanwhile, check out these teaser images and also check out Kelly's website, www.playjumpeat.com.
Curious cows checking out the bed frame as we were setting up at the farm shoot.
Prepping the "Hunter" bedjump session.
Here I am doing a somersault in the snow. I did one for fun early in the day, and Kelly's nephew didn't believe it when I told him about it. I have no idea why not. Maybe he thought adults never have fun? He's 12. So I said, you watch out this window when I leave, and I'll do it again, just to prove it! Ain't no denyin'!
